The problem, of course, is that it's still "Mixcrash." I don't have this problem with any other program on my computer I've got 32gb RAM, I play intricate video games on this same system, I can be at like 15% CPU usage and Mixcraft will suddenly go "WAHHH MY JOB IS TOO HARD I NEED TO CRASH NOW." (In these moments of frustration, I find myself wondering how much time the people designing these programs spend on crafting the "spontaneous combustion" feature). It also comes with a flexible, easy-to-use MIDI step sequencer. I find the interface downright effortless, easy to use - everything is laid out so that I can immediately see & find many of the functions I'd want to use regularly, and the things that aren't immediately visible are consistently placed in areas where it's logical to look for them. Been fiddling around on Mixcraft through version 8 & version 9.
